IMMUNE SYSTEM

The immune system is a complex network in your dog's body designed to protect against foreign invaders that can negatively affect their well-being. It is the job of the immune system to recognise, and then repel or destroy invading agents such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, allergens and toxins. The immune system acts universally within the whole body, but also works locally to provide protection at specific body sites such as the digestive system and the skin and coat.
