A healthy weight and a lean body condition are important to your dogs health and quality if life. PRO PLAN Light Original is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of adult dogs of any breed size that have the tendency to become overweight, a low calorie formula, with only 9% fat for slightly overweight adult dogs.

Daily Feeding Recommendation

The recommended daily amounts should be adjusted according to weather conditions (more will be consumed in cold weather if the dog lives outside), the animal's level of activity and its physical condition. Clean, fresh water should be available at all times. The product should be stored in a dry and clean place at ambient temperature.

You can help your dog achieve a safe rate of weight loss by following these guidelines. Use the column on the right if your dog needs to maintain his current weight. Use the column on the left if your dog needs to lose some weight. For overweight dogs, adjust as needed to achieve a rate of weight loss of about 2 to 4% of his body weight per month.
