Vitamin A: 21000 IU/kg

Feeding for reproduction

PRO PLAN Performance is an ideal food to support the bitch during reproduction. During the later part of pregnancy and while nursing, females have very high nutritional requirements. Food allowances should be increased 1.5 to 2 fold maintenance levels during the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy and increased again while nursing. Food may be fed moistened to encourage food intake, but fresh water should always be available. After weaning the mother's food should be adjusted to a daily amount to maintain her at an ideal body condition. Be sure to periodically adjust, if necessary, the daily amount fed to maintain an ideal body condition.
